AIRPORTS IN JAMAICA

With 3 international airports, Jamaica is major hub for the Caribbean.  The Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, is the main point of entry for tourist travelling to Jamaica.  The Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamaica’s capital city, and the Ian Fleming International Airport in picturesque Ocho Rios are the others.

Sangster International Airport

This is the primary point of entry for most tourists and the is located in Montego Bay, the tourism mecca of the Caribbean.  It’s the better option for entry to Jamaica if you’re headed to Montego Bay, Ocho Rios or Negril.   With numerous to international terminals, Montego Bay Airport has a private jet area with Immigration and Customs processing to facilitate those travelers who choose this method of entry.  Ground transportation such as Taxis, hotel shuttles and car rental companies are readily available in the Arrivals Lounge to assist visitors in getting to their final destinations.

Norman Manley International Airport

Located in Kingston, the preferred gateway if you are visiting the capital city, Port  Antonio or heading to the Blue Mountains.  Transportation from the airport to your destination is easy to arranged and you to all the major points in minutes – whether to go Downtown, to New Kingston business districts or to other parts of the island.

Ian Fleming International Airport

One of Jamaica’s newest international airport, the Ian Fleming International Airport, is located in the Ocho Rios resort area. The new airport is a convenient entry point to Jamaica’s north coast for small aircraft.  This is the preferred gateway for guests travelling to the many renowned villas and resorts which are only minutes away from the Airport.  Ground Transportation is easily arranged.
